said Justices of the said Lord the King assigned to keep the peace of the said Lord the King in the said County of
[..] Middlesex and also to hear and determine diverse Felonies Trespasses and other Misdemeanours committed in the County
last aforesaid and the said Edward Bygrave< no role > then and there in the Presence and with the knowledge and privity of the
said Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > This name instance is in set 1683. and is pursuance of the said Combination and Conspiracy (the said Edward Bygrave< no role > then and there
personating the said John Spurce< no role > ) before the said William Morice< no role > (the said William Morice< no role > then and long before being one
of the Justices of he said Lord the King assigned to keep the peace of the said Lord the King in the County of Middlesex
and also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdemeanours committed in the said County of Middlesex
and having sufficient Authority to administer an Oath to the said Edward Bygrave< no role > in that behalf) did then in the said
Parish of Kensington in the sd [..] of Middlesex voluntarily falsely and maliciously upon his corporal Oath depose swear and in Writing affirce
That a person then in Custody in his Majesty's Goal of Newgate in the County of Middlesex who went by the Name
of William Franklyn< no role > and by the Nick Name of Rusty Dick< no role > (meaning the said William Frankland< no role > who was then in
Custody in the said Goal) did on or about the twentieth day of October which was in the year of our Lord One thousand
seven hundred and thirty six attack him (meaning him the said Edward Bygrave< no role > (who then personated the said John
Spurce) on the Highway as he (meaning himself the said Edward Bygrave< no role > then personating the said John
Spurce) was travelling between Islip and Weatley in [..] (meaning the said William Frankland< no role > )
robbed him (meaning himself the said Edward Bygrave< no role > then personating the said John Spurce< no role > ) and forcibly took
from him (meaning himself the said Edward Bygrave< no role > then personating the said John Spurce< no role > ) one Guinea Fifteen
shillings in Silver a Silver Watch and Hatt and that the said Robbery was committed in the day time between the
hours of four and five o'Clock in the afternoon on or about the said twentieth October in the year One thousand seven
