But that he should cause the sd. Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > This name instance is in set 1683. and Edward Bygrave< no role > to come to answer to the Premisses And afterwd.
to wit at the Same Session of Oyer and Terminer holden at Hicks Hall aforesd. in & for the said County of Middx on the,
said Monday the Eleventh Day of January in the sd. 15th. Year of the reign of our sd: now Lord the King before the
Justices of our said Lord the King abovenamed and others their Fellows aforesaid came the said Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > This name instance is in set 1683. in
her Proper Person and having heard the said Indictment read the said Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > This name instance is in set 1683. said that She was not guilty
thereof And thereupon She put herself upon the Country And Peter Walter< no role > Esquire Clerk of the Peace of the County
of Middx aforesaid who prosecuted for our said Lord the King in that behalf did the like etc Whereupon
Such further proceedings were had upon the Indictment aforesaid that afterward to wit at the Session of Oyer and
Terminer of our sd. Lord the King holden for the sd. County of Middx at Hicks Hall aforesd. in the said County of
Middx on Monday the 22d. day of February in the said 15th: Year of the reign of our sd. now Lord the King before Edward

then Justices of our said Lord the King assigned by Letters Patent of our sd. Lord the King under his great Seal of Great
Britain to the Same Justices abovenamed & others & any four or more of them directed to inquire morefully
the Truth by the oath of good & lawfull Men of the sd: County of Middx and by other ways means & methods by
which they should or might better know (as well within Liberties as without) by whom the truth of Matter
might be better know of All Treasons, Misprisions of Treasons, Insurrections, Rebellions, Counterfeilings, Clippings
Washings false coinings & other falsities of the money of Great Britain & other Kingdoms or [..]
And of All Murders, Felonies, Manslaughters, Killings Burglaries, Rapes of Women unlawfull Meetings Conventicles
unlawfull uttering of Words, Assemblies, Misprisions, Confederaties, false Allegations Trespasses Riots, Routs, Retentions,
Escapes, Contempts, Falsities, Negligences, Consealments, Maintenance, oppressions, Champarly, deceipts And All
other Evil doings offences & Injuries whatsoever And Also of the Accessaries of them within the County of Middx
aforesd. as well within Liberties as without by whomsoever & in what manner soever done committed or perpetrated
and by whom or to whom when how & after what manner And of all other Articles & Circumstances concerning the
Premisses & every of them or any of them in any manner whatsoever And the sd. Treasons & other the Premisses to
hear & determine according to the Laws & Customs of England the Issue aforesaid came on to be tried & was tried by
a Jury of the Country in that behalf duly taken between our said Lord the King & the sd. Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > This name instance is in set 1683. And
upon the Same Trial the Jurors of the said Jury of the Country brought in their Verdict And did lay upon their
Oath that the sd. Elizabeth Nicholls< no role > This name instance is in set 1683. was guilty of the offence & Misdemeanor charged against her And specifyed
in the Indictmt. aforesd: And that Edward Bygrave< no role > in the Same Indictment named dyed after the 9th day of
Nov: in the Year of our Lord 1739 in the Same Indictment mentioned and before the same Indictment was
preferred as by the Record thereof more fully doth appear And the urors aforesd. nowhere Sworn
and charged to Inquire for our said Lord the King for he Body of the City of London upon their oath
aforesd. do further present that after the said Issue was joined in form aforesd. & before the Trial of the
