Be it Remembred that at the GeneralQuarterSession of the Peace of our Sovereign
Lord the King holden for the County of Middx at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the same.
County on Tuesday the first day of June in the fifteenth year of the reign of our Sovereign
Lord George the Second King of Great Britain Etc before Thomas Lane< no role > Esquire Sir Joseph Ayloff Houlding< no role >
Baronet Nicholas Jeffreys< no role > Roger Conings< no role > by Esquires and others their Fellows
Justices of our said Lord the King Assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid And
also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in
the same County by the Oath of John Sharpe< no role > Gentleman Edwd Harvey< no role > William Way< no role > Mathew James< no role >

good and Lawfull Men of the County aforesaid then and there Sworn and Charged to Enquire
for our said Lord the King for the Body of the said County it is Presented in manner and
form as followeth (that is to say) Middx The Jurors for our Lord the King upon
their Oath Present that John Tennant< no role > late of the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields in
the County of Middx Gentleman on the twentieth day of August in the fourteenth year of
the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second now King of Great Britain Etc at
London to wit in the Parish of St. Bridgett otherwise Brides in the Ward of Farringdon
without did marry one Elizabeth Carey< no role > Spinster and her the said Elizabeth then and
there had for his Wife And that he the said John Tennant< no role > afterwards to wit the eighth
day of November in the Fifteenth year of the Reign of our said now Lord King George the Second
with force and Arms at the Parish of St. James Clerkenwell in the County of Middx
feloniously did marry and to Wife did take one Mary Hanger< no role > Widow and to the said
Mary then and there was married (the said Elizabeth his former Wife being then
living and in full Life) against the Form of the Statute in such Case made and
Provided and against the Peace of our said Lord the King his brown and Dignity
Whereupon afterward to wit at the General Session of the Peace of our said Lord the
King holden for the County of Middx at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the same
County on Monday the Sixth Day of December in the Sixteenth year aforesaid before
Thomas Lane< no role > Esquire Sir Joseph Ayloff Houlding< no role > Baronet Sir Edward Lawrence< no role >
Knight John Milner< no role > Esquire and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord
the King Assigned to keep the peace in the County of Middx aforesaid and also to
hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other misdeeds committed in
the same County the Sheriff of the County of Middx aforesaid is Commanded by the Writ of
our said Lord the King that he omit not by reason of any Liberty in his Bailwick but
that he take the aforesaid John Tennant< no role > if he shall be found in his Bailwick and him
safely keep so that he have his Body before the Justices of our said Lord the King
Assigned to keep the peace of our said Lord the King in the County of Middlesex aforesaid
and also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds
committed in the said County at the next General Quarter Sessions of the peace of our
said Lord the King to be holden for the said County of Middx to Answer to our said
Lord the King concerning a certain in Felony whereof he Stands Indicted At which
said next General Quarter Sessions of the peace of our said Lord the King to wit at the
General Quarter Sessions of the Peace of our said Lord the King holden for the County
of Middx aforesaid at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the County aforesaid on
Monday in the Week next after the Feast of the Epiphany to wit the tenth day of
January in the Sixteenth year of the Reign of our said now Lord the King before Thomas
