of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Gregory
by St. Paul in ye City of London , and to the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of
the Parish of St. Clement Deanes in
the County of Middx respectively.

WHEREAS Complaint hath this Day been made
unto us two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and the Liberties thereof one of them appointed by act of Parliament (Quorum
unus)
by You the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Gregory by St. Pauls in ye City of
London, That Thomas Jay< no role > and Ann his wife are
lately come into
your said Parish not having obtained any legal Settlement
there, and are likely to become Chargeable thereto,
by Reason of Their great Poverty
unless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath of The said Thomas Jay< no role >
that he did about five years ago live and keep a house in
the parish of Saint Clement Deanes in the County of Middx
of the yearly rent of Twenty nine pounds by the Space of one
year & upward And hath
not obtain d and subsequent Settlement. We the said
Justices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the
Last legal Settlement of the said Thomas Jaye and
Ann< no role > his wife to be
in the said Parish of Saint Clement Deanes in the
sd County of Middx and that thitherto
they ought by Law to be sent.

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name to re-
quire You to remove and convey the said Thomas Jay< no role > and
Ann his Wife
from and out of your said Parish of Saint Gregory by
Saint Pauls in ye City of London , to the said Parish of
Saint Clement Danes in the County of Middx
and them leave with
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or
one of them, who is and are hereby required to receive
and provide for them according to Law. Hereof fail
not, and this shall be your Warrant. Given under our
Hands and Seals the 13th Day of July Anno
Domini
17 33 Annoq; Regni Regis Georgij 2di.
