WHEREAS Complaint hath this Day been made
unto us two hisMajesty's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and the Liberties thereof (Quorum
unus) by You the Churchwardens andOverseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St Andrew Wardrobe
London, That Elizabeth Barrett< no role > wife of David Barrett< no role >
is lately come into
your said Parishnot having obtained any
legal Settlement there, and is likely to become charge-
able thereto by reason of her Poverty and
unless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath of the said Elizabeth
Barrett That her said husband David Barrett
served his apprenticeship witha Fanstick
maker in the Precinct of White Fryers London
and by any means hath
not obtaind any subsequent Settlement. We the said Ju-
stices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the last
legal Settlement of the said Elizabeth Barrett
to be in the said
Precinct of White Fryersand
that thitherto she ought by Law to be sent.

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name to re-
quire You to remove and convey the said Elizabeth
Barrett
from and out of your said Parish of St. Andrew Wardrobe
London, to the said Precinct of White Fryers
and her leave with she
Overseers of the Poor there, or one of them, who is and
are hereby required to receive and provide for her
according to Law. Hereof fail not, and this shall be your
Warrant. Given under our Hands and Seals the Fifth
Day of MayAnno Domini 1724
