To the Churchwardens Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St Andrew Wardrobe London and also to
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Kings thorp in the County of Horthampton

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose
hands and Seals are hereunto Sett two of his Majties Justices of
the peace for the City of London (Quorm Unus) by the
Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St Andrew Wardrobe London. That Sarah Dickenson< no role >
Singlewoman is
lately come into the
Said Parish endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law and
unless timely prevented is likely to become chargeable
thereunto which We do adjudge to be true. and for as much
as it appeareth unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of
Samuel Brearley< no role > that Walter Dickenson< no role > Father of the said
Sarah Dickenson was an Inhabitant in the parish of king thorp
in the County of Northampton where he was rated & paid to ye Poor
and other Parochial Deuties and no other legal Settlement
elsewhere appearing unto us Since We do also adjudge the
said parish of Kingsthorpto be the place of her last
legal Settlement

These are therefore in his Majesty's name to will & require
you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Parish of St Andrew Wardrobe forthwith to remove and to to noty
the said Sarah Dickenson
from out of your said parish unto the said parish of
Kingsthorpand her deliver unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor there Some or one of them who are
hereby required to receive and provide for her according to
Law. Given under our hands and Seals this 11thday of
November Anno Din 1723
