Parish of St Stephen Colemanstreet London and also to
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St Leonard Foster Lane London

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose
hands and Seals are hereunto Sett two of his Majesties Justices of
the peace for the City of London (Quorn Unus) by the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St Stephen Coleman Street LondonThat Dorothy Luther< no role >
Singlewoman is
lately come into the
Said Parish endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law and
unless timely prevented is likely to become chargeable
thereunto which We do adjudge to be true. and forasmuch
as it appeareth unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of
the said Dorothy Luther That She Served her apprentice Ship with one
Mrs Stanton Widow a Chandler in the parish of St Leonard
Foster Lane London
and no other legal Settlement
elsewhere appearing unto us Since We do also adjudge the
said parish of St. Leonard FosterLane.to the place of her last
legal Settlement

These are therefore in his Majesty's name to will & require
you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Parish of St Stephen Colemanstreet forthwith to remove and convey
the said Dorothy Luther
from out of your said parish unto the said parish of St Leonard
Foster Laneand her deliver unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor there Some or one of them who are
hereby required to receive and provide for her-according to
Law. Given under our hands and Seals this 22dday of
NovemberAnno Dm 1722
