The humble petition and Appeal of the poor
of the Parish of St. Martin Ludgate London

Sheweth

That by a pass Narrt. or Order under the hands & seals of Two of
his Maties Justies of the Peace which the City of London (Quard unus)
bearing date the Twenty third day of August last past That Richd
Collins< no role > wth. Sarah< no role > his Wife were removed from the parish of St.
Buttolph wth.out Aldersgate London unto yer. Petr. parish of St.
Martins Ludgate London alledging that yer Pets. parish is the
place of their last legal Settlement your Peth. therefore conceiving
themselves aggreived by the said warrant & judgment of the
said Two Justices Humbly Appeal to yor. Honors & Worpps. for
redress therein

And humbly pray you'l he pleased to hear
them touching the prmises and order the Church
wardens & overseers of the poor of the said Parish
of St. Buttolph wth.out Aldersgate to Appear before
you to hear & abide the judgment & determination
of yor. Honor. & Worpss. upon this their Appeal
