Weekes arelately come into the
said Parish endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law and
unless timely prevented are likely to become chargeable
thereunto which We do adjudge to be true, and forasmuch
as it appeareth unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of
the said

rented and dwell in a house of Twelve pounds p Anum
rent in the Parish of St James Dukes Place
London
and no other legal Settlement
elsewhere appearing unto us Since We do also adjudge the
said parish of St James Dukes Place
-to be the place of their last
legal Settlement
These are therefore in his Majesty's name to will & require
you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Parish of St Giles wthout Cripplegate
forthwith to remove and convey
the said Eleanor Jakeman< no role >
with her said three Children
from out of your said parish unto the said parish of St James
Dukes Place
and their deliver unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor there Some or out of them who are
hereby required to receive and provide for them according to
Law. Given under our hands and Seals this Second day of
