WHEREAS Complaint hath this Day been made
unto us two of His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace
for this City, and the Liberties thereof (Quorum
unus) by You the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Mary Somerset
London, That

with three Children

aged about sixteen years

of the like age being
Twinns
and
Martha< no role >
aged about six yeares are lately come
into and are now found in
your said Parish not having obtained any
legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto by reason of the poverty and helplessness of the
said Mary the Mother unless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath of the said Mary that about
eighteen years agoe she ended the service of her appnticeship
with
one Mrs. Barker a Widow & Quilter
in Tweeds Court
in Great Trinity
Lane
in the said parish of the Holy Trinity
& tho' since lived married yet
it doth not by any means appear unto us where she hath
[..] obtained any subsequent Settlement. We the said Ju-
stices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the last
legal Settlement of the said Mary Tweedale Widdow
to be in the said
Parish of the Holy Trinity
London and
that thither to they all ought by Law to be sent.
THESE are therefore in this Majesty's Name to re-
quire You to remove and convey the said Mary Tweedale< no role >

and Martha< no role >
from and out of your said Parish of St. Mary Somerset
London to the said Parish of Holy Trinity
London
and them leave with the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor there, or one of them, who is and
are hereby required to receive and provide for them
according to Law, Hereof fail not, and this shall be your
Warrant. Given under our Hands and Seals the twenty eighth
