To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
Parish of Allhallows Barkin in the City of London and also
to the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the Parish
of St Pancras in the said City

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose hands and
seals are hereunto sett two of his Maties Justices of the peace for the
City of London (Quorm Unus) by this Churchwardens and overseers of
the poor of the Parish of Allhallows Barkin London that Mary Gibbs< no role >
wife of Geroge Gibbs< no role > with her two Children John< no role > aged seven years &
James< no role > aged three years lately come into the said Parish endeavouring
to settle there contrary to Law and unless timely prevented in liberty to
become chargeable thereunto which wee do adjudge to be true and
Forasmuch as if appeareth unto us the said Justices upon his Oath of
the said Mary Gibbs< no role > that her said Husband George Gibbs< no role > served the last
five years of his apprenticeship with one Mr Smith a ventner in the
Parish of St Pancras in the City of London aforesaid and weather legal
settlement else where appearing unto us fire woods also adjudge the
said Parish of St. Pancras to be the Place of their Legal
settlement

These are therefore in his Maties name to will & require
you the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the said Parish
of Allhallows Barkin and London forthwith to remove and convey
The said Mary Gibbs< no role > with John< no role > and James< no role > her said two Children
from out of your said Parish unto the said Parish of St Pancras
London and them deliver unto the Churchwardens & Overseers of
the poor there some or one of them who are hereby required to receive
and provide for them according to Law Given under our Hands &
seals this 18th Day of march Anno Din 1718 Annoq RRs
