WHEREAS Complaint hath this Day been made
unto us two of His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and the Liberties thereof (Quorum
unus) by You the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Gyles without Cripplegate
London, That one Mary Roberts< no role >

now bigg with Child is wine into
your said Parish not having obtained any
legal Settlement there, and is likely to become charge-
able thereto by reason of her Poverty
unless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath of the said Mary Roberts< no role >
that John Roberts< no role >
the Father of her said Husband
was an
Inhabitant in the Parish of St. Mary Magdalen
in Milk street
in
London where he said Eight & Thirty Pounds & And Rent for his
House for severall years & where her sd Husband was born and has
not obtained any subsequent Settlement. We the said Ju-
stices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the present
legal Settlement of the said Mary Rooberts< no role >
to be in the said
Parish of St. Mary Magdalen
in Milkstreet
London and
that thitherto she ought by Law to be sent.
THESE are therefore in His Majesty's Name to re-
quire You to remove and convey the said Mary Roberts< no role >
from and out of your said Parish of St. Gyles without Cripplegate
London
to the third Parish at St. Mary magdalen in
Milkstreet
London and [..] Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor there, or one of them, who is and
are hereby required to receive and provide for her
according to Law, Hereof fail not, and this shall be your
Warrant. Given Under our Hands and Seals the Second
