Whereas Complaint has been made unto Us two of his Maties
Justices ofthePeace for the City of London one being of the Quorum
by the Overseers of the Poor of the Precinct of White Fryers in
the City of London That Dorothy Wiseback< no role > is lately come into their
said Precinct endeavouring to settle there without legal Power
or Authority And the said Dorothy Wiseback being examined
upon Oath before Us saith and Deposeth That about five, years
since she was a House Keeper in the Parish of St. Sepulchres in,
the City of London , and paid about Twelve Pounds a Year Rent
for several years since which she hath not gained any other
legal settlement in any other Place Therefore We adjudge the
said Parish of St. Sepulchres to be the Place of her last legal
settlement of the said Dorothy Wiseback and to which she
ought to be sent These are therefore in his Maties Name to
Require and Command you the Overseers of the Poor of the said
Precinct of whitefryers to take, pass, and carry away the said
Dorothy Wiseback from and out of your said Precinct unto
the said Parish of St. Sepulchres in the said City of London , and
there deliver her to some or one of the Church wardens or Over-
seers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Sepulchres who are
hereby required the said Dorothy Wiseback to receive and
provide for as for their other Poor and hereof fail not Given
under our hands and Seals this 16th. day of March Anno Dui
1714
