This Informant deposeth That within Nine
Months last pasttheSd Thomas Pitkin< no role > This name instance is in set 1254.
hath
taken up upon Creditt from diverse Merchants
Tradesmen & Clothiers diverse great Quantityes
of Woollen Cloth Leimen Cloth Gold Lace
Druggs. Serges and other Goods & Wares
to the value of Twenty Thousand Pounds &
upwards and this Deponts: knowes, that
many Cart Loades & porters Loades of the
Sd Goods were from time to time within a
few dayes after the same were delivered to
the Sd Pitkin, Removed from the sd Pitkin
house to the Sd. Mr. Brerewoods House, or to
Ware houses & other places appointed by lives
and that the value thereof accounted to
the sit Sume of Twenty Thousand pounds
& upwards, And this Deponts. doth verily
beleive and is fully satisfied, that the sd
Pitkin was moved by the sd Brerewood to
gett a Creditt for such great Quantityes of
Goods as aforesd, upon a Conspiracy &
Confederacy between them to Cheal and
defraud the perons of whom the sd Pitkin
had the same, of the value of the sd Goods
