Who saith, That about the 13th. of Aprill last, this
Informant, bought of Robert Coward< no role >
& Sarah< no role >
his wife
A Bundles of Raw Silk, called Closetta Yarn, which
they told her weighed three pounds & an halfe, al
Seaven Shillings & pounds, for which she paid then
ready money excepting three or four Shillings, And ye
Same day this Informt. delivere the Bundle to one
Andrew Clarehold< no role >
(whom she had known about Six
weeks) to Sell for her, And afterwards he told her he
had sold it for eight Shillings A pound, & the it or
weighed only three pounds & Six Ounces. Which said
Bundles of Silk was Soon afterwards found & Seized
by the officers of the New East India Company
in ye

Sd. Pish of St. Mary White Chapell
, being the person or
this Informt. afterwards was informed by the Said
Clareholt, that the Silk was Sold to. And this Informt.
further Saith, That she had known ye Sd. Coward & his
wife abt. Six [..] weeks or two months before she
bought the Sd. Bundle of them, in which time this Informt.
had recomended one Mr Burden who had bought of ye
Sd. Coward wife, al theire about one hundred &
twenty pound weight of China Raw Silk. And Lastly
this Informt. Saith That when she bought ye sd. Bundle
of Floretta yarm, the Sd. Coward & his wife told her
they had seaven or right Bundles more of the same
Sort to Sell.
