This Infomant deposeth That within Nine Months
last past the Sd. Thomas Pitkin< no role > This name instance is in set 1254.
hath taken up upon Creditt
from diverse Merchants Tradesmen & Clothiers diverse
great Quantityes of Woolden Cloth Linnen Cloth Gold late
Druggs Serges and other Goods & Wares to the Value of
Twenty Thousand pounds & upwards and this Depont.
Civiwes that many part Loades & Porters Loades of the
Sd. Goods were from time to time within a few dayes
after the same were delivered to the Sd. Pitkin
Removed from the Sd. Pitkins house to the Sd. Mr.
Brerewoods house or to Warehouses & other places
appointed by him and that the Value thereof amounted to
the sd sume of Twenty Thousand pounds & upwards
And this Depont. doth verily believe and is fully
Satisfied that the Sd. Pitkin was moved by the Sd.
Brerwood to gett a Creditt for such great Quantity or
of Goods as aforesd upon a Conspiracy & Confederary
between them to Cheat and Defraud the persons
of whom the Sd. Pitkin had the same of the Value
of the Sd. Goods
