The humble petion & appeal of the Churchwrdens
& Overseers of the poor of the parish of
St. Martins in the fields in ye. County of Midx

That by warrt undr. ye hands & Seals of Sr. Salathiel Lovell< no role >
Knt . Recordr . of the sd. City of London & Sr. Tho: Stamp< no role > Knt . bearing
Date the 10th. of this inst. Janry. 1694 . One Sarah Simpson< no role > & her son
Thomas Simpson< no role > aged twenty two months or thereabouts were
passed from the parish of St. Giles Criplegate London to
the parish of St. Martins in the fields aforesd. upon prtence
that Thomas Simpson< no role > (husband of the aforesd. Sarah) had
his last Legal Setlemt. in the sd. parish of St. Martins in ye fields

That yor. petrs. humbly conceive themselves aggrieved
by the sd. pass warrt. for that the sd. Thomas Simpson< no role > never
had any Legal Setlemt. in the sd. Pish of St. Martins in ye. fields
as they doubt not but to make out to yr. worsps

Yr. petrs. therefore humbly pray yr. worsps
to ordr. ye Churchwardens & Overseers of
the poor of [..] St. Giles Criplegate London
to attend at adaytime certein this genrll. quarter
Sessions to shew cause why they shoud
not receive & provide for the sd. Sarah
Simpson
