the said Woman and Child.

Hannah Taylor< no role > on her Oath saith to the best of her Recollection on
Saturday after new year day last William Patmore< no role > came to her in High
Street Mile End New Town in the forenoon about Eleven and asked her if
she would come to his house to a Woman in Great Distress and to go with
him says the went and upstairs she found a Woman laying on a Mater more
with a female Child by her of which said Woman had been lately deleivered
That she tyed the Novel String and wrapt said Child up i a C [..] Woman
at which time both woman and Child were both well That she helped William
to move her of that down room and lay her in another Room on a [..] of Stairs
and covered her with an old thick quilt that she gave her candle a goodness
and dressed the Child with things William Patmore< no role > bought Says she
came away went next morning asked Mr. Patmore how the woman
did who answered brave and heartyandThat she was not sent
for after nor did she go afterwards before to day

Susannah Whiting< no role > on her Oath saith she has seen this afternoon
The Body of a Woman in a Garret in high Street when she
Officers of a Parish were Say on Examining the body
of said Woman it appear to her the said Woman did not
dye a natural Death

born Child to an assistant of Mr. Young Lodger in Colman Street No. 4
for four Shillings last night which child did last Tuesday fortnight
