Who upon his Oath saith that on the 23d. Day
of January Instant in the Eveng. being some what in Liquor
he was Walking along the Street and being attached by
a Woman of the Name of Jane Payne< no role > a Star Court Cross
Lane and went to her Lodgings on the Ground Floor No.10.
that he gave her the other Prisoner Catherine Brittain< no role >
two Glasses of Gin and agreed with her per One Shillings
to sleep with her upon which both the prisoners Jane
Payne< no role > and Catharine Brittain< no role > as well as himself went
to Bed together he being in the Middle that he caressed
the Prisoner Jane Payne< no role > and whilst he was doing so the
other Prisoner Catherine Brittain pulled the Chair to her
that stood near the Bed side on which his Coat Waistcoat
and Breeches lay but he endeavoured to stop her
that in about ten Minutes after he was in Bed he
wanted to get away not liking his Loding upon that
the Prisoner Catherine Brittain got out of Bed & run up
Stairs almost naked and left the other Prisoner Jane
Payne< no role > in BedThat before he went to Bed he put a
Guinea in one of his Stockings and some Silver in his
other Stockings in the presence & Sight of the Two Prisoners
when they both insisted the Money should be taken out
