The Information of James Kenton< no role > Fredrick Windermide< no role > , Phillip
Jones

before me this 28th. of Jany 1789 on Oath

James Kenton< no role > says that on Fri
day night last before Dark he left in his Yard in St. Anns
Jane Westminster in the parish of St. John on Iron Ane Free with a Coach Wheel on it with
about Seven o'Clock this Infort. missed the said Axle Wheel
she out of his Yard of some little Time after one John didde< no role >
brought she said Axle Free to this Infort. House that same Morning saying [..]
he found it an the Ruins she Back of St. Anns Lane con
vered over with Rubbish that this Infort. gave the said John
Diddle Two Shillings for his trouble that this Infort. find
ing the Gates of his Yard locked in the Morning was at a loss
to know which way the said axle I Wheel was got out
of his Yard and in looking about observed the Walls between
his Francis Flemings< no role > Yard frish rubbd that he lookd
over & saw the print of a Wheel in the next Yard to his
as fresh made and believes that the Axle Free & Wheel must
have been taken over the said Walls as it was impossible
they could be conveyed any other Way that this Infort. further
says that the same Morning he found the Wheel knock
to pieces on the Ruins in St. Anns Lane & the Knave
of is Split, in getting it of the Axle Free James Kerton< no role >

Fredrick Windermude< no role > says that
the saw Phillip Jones< no role > Servant to Mr Devine carry something
about the Size of an Axle Free coverd over with White Cloths in
to his Masters House between Seven & Eight o Clock on Saturday
Morning last that Francis Flemings< no role > was with him yt some little time after this Infort. saw one Edward
Wells
< no role > on the Ruins in St. Ann Lane aforesaid covering over
something with rubbish and bring something in at in Kettle
out of Davines Yard that soon after this Infort. sent his Lad
to see what had been coverd over that he saw his Lad & One Jno
Diddle
< no role > take from under the Rubbish (where Ld. Wills had been
covering it) an Iron Axle Free yt. The said John Diddle
took it away with him

Phillip Jones< no role > says he lives with
Mr Devine a dealer in Old Iron in St. Anns Lane aforesaid that
on Saturday Morning last between the Hours of Seven & Eight
o Clock Francis Flemings< no role > came to his Masters House who was
