in and for the said County this 23rd. day of Febry. 1789
This Informant Edward Osborne< no role >
upon his
Oath saith that he keeps a House in Poland Street
in the
Parish of Saint James Westminster
in the said County and
deals in Coals that on Sunday the 15th. day of February Inst.
about the hour of three he doubled Locked his Parlour Door
and went out, and Returned about five o Clock and on going to
the said Door to his great surprize found it open he ten
went in and looked about the Room and found every thing
Apparently Safe, that on Tuesday Evening following the
other Informant Samuel Robbins< no role >
came to his house and
desired to Peak with him accordingly he Did, and informed
him he had been Robbed of a Metal Watch, One Silver
Table Spoon, Three Tea Spoons, a Pair of Tea Tongs, and
a Napkin and that they were taken out of the Deal Box
in the Parlour and said that he saw the said Articles
in the Possession of one Charles Doyle< no role >
who together
with one George Robbins< no role >
sold them at a Mrs. Robertsons
And further this Informant saith he hath every
Reason to believe that the above mentioned Articles
were stolen as aforesaid by the said Charles Doyle< no role >
and are the Property of this said Informant
