Henry Satchell< no role > of King Street Covent Garden
Book Seller and John Thomas< no role > of No 16
Oxford Street Bookseller taken on Oath
before me this 21st. day of August 1789

Who being on Oath severally say and first the said
Ann Walker< no role > for herself says that on or about the 26th. day of
July last there were Feloniously Stolen in her Dwelling house
certain books Vizr. two old Volumes of the Holy Bible & two Volumes
of Herveys Meditations a Looking Glass and a Mahogany
Purse frame this Informant property that yesterday she found
two of the said books at the said Henry Satchells< no role > in King Street
that the two odd Volumes of the Bible now Produced are the same
she found at the said Henry Satchells< no role > and are part of the said books
so Stolen in her Dwelling house as aforesaid And this Informant
further says that the person now present who calls himself William
Cawsey
< no role > Worked as a Journeyman Painter in her house in the
Repairing the same at the time the said Articles were Stolen
And she verily beleives that the said William Cawsey< no role > [..] is
the Person who Feloniously Stole the Same And the said
Henry Satchell< no role > for himself says that the two books now produced
by him he bought of the said John Thomas< no role > yesterday morning
And the said John Thomas< no role > for himself says that on the same day
he bought the said two books for the sum of Seven Shillings
of the said William Cawsey< no role > at his Apartments No 3 Dukes Court
