The Informations of John Coffy< no role > and Ann
Coffy
< no role > his Wife and Theophile & Butcher< no role >
taken upon Oath the 18th. Day of July 1789

Who upon their several Oaths say and first the said
John Coffy< no role > for himself saith that on Wednesday the Fifteenth
Day of July about four oClock in the Morning he went out
to work and left his Wife in the Room and when he came
Home at Noon to Dinner he found the Room Door was
broke open and upon looking he likewise found his Box
had been robbedandof diverse Articles taken thereout
and out of the Room

Ann Coffy< no role > Wife of John Coffy< no role > for herself saith that
on Wednesday the Fifteenth Day of July about five oClock
in the Morning she double locked the Door & went out
to work having before fastened the Windows & the Shutters
and that when her Husband came to his Dinner he
came to her and told her the Door was broke open
& the Room was robbed

Theophilus Butcher< no role > for himself saith that being
seat for by Elizabeth Riley< no role > Wife at Richard Riley< no role > of
Church Street St. Giles to take the Prisoner Nathaniel
Tylee
< no role > into Custody on searching him found a small
looking Glass a Razon a metal Seal with the Impression
of a Turks Head thereon and a Class Knife and a
Cobler Awl the Property of John Coffy< no role >
