One of his Majesty's Justices of the
peace
for the said County
Who being severally upon oath Say
and first this Informant Henry Broderick< no role >
for himself saith that the four pairs of
Stays now produced are his property and
were feloniously Stolen from him, That the
smallest pair were as he verily believes
taken on the person of the prisoner Maria
Mackett< no role >
by his wife the remaining three
pair he found in the possession of the
other Informant Mary Tuder in consequence
of a Confession made by the prisoner to a
person this Informant employed to ask
her respecting the same, but whether under
any promises of favour towards the
prisoner he is not certain but rather
believes such confession might have been
obtained by that means
And this Informant Mary Broderick< no role >
for herself Saith that she found the Smallest
