The Information of Evan Williams< no role > of No.328 in the
Strand Taylor taken before me this 11th. day of
June 1789.

Who being upon Oath saith that [..] Thursday the fourth day
of June Instant a Person now Present who calls himself Thomas
Robertson
< no role > dined with this Informant at his Lodgings in the Strand
that during the Time he this Informant was at Dinner, there
was a Large metal Watch with a Steel Chain and seal lying upon
a Table in his appartment but does not know either the Maker's Name a Number that having occasion to go down
Stairs soon after Dinner, upon his returning to his Room he met
the prisoner coming down stairs without his Stick, that this
Informant asked him where he was going who answered
"to the necessary for he was not well"- that suspecting the
Prisoner had told him an untruth, he immediately went
to the room where the said Watch was,bybut found it was
gone, that he then went in pursuit of the prisoner but
did not see him untill Tuesday last-and that he is very sure that
the said Thomas Robertson< no role > [..] stole the said Watch

Leather Lane Pawn broker taken before me this 11th
Day of June 1789

Who being upon oath saith that on Thursday the fourth Day of
June Instant between the Hours of Two and Three in the afternoon
a person now present who calls himself Thomas Robertson< no role >
[..] pawned a Metal Watch of a large Size Makers
