The Informations of Bartholemew Price< no role > Esquire
Jacob Freeman< no role > Edward Tredway< no role > and Benjamin
Powell
< no role > taken upon Oath the First Day of July 1789

Who upon their several Oaths say and first the said
Bartholemew Price< no role > for himself saith that on Tuesday
the Thirtieth Day of June last betwixt two & three oClock
in the Afternoon as he was walking along Piccadilly
near Bontton Street he observed there was a Company
of People coming along which he apprehended was
some particular Society but not a Great Crowd but
presently he perceived himself surrounded by a great
many Persons who knocked off his Hatt pushed him
about & said why dont you take out that King that
hangs there upon which he endeavoured to draw
himself back and then missed his Watch & upon
looking saw the same lye upon the Ground

Jacob Freeman< no role > for himself saith that betwixt
The Hours of Two & three oClock in the Afternoon [..]
on the Thirtieth Day of June last as he was conducting
the British Assurance Society as a Peace Officer along
Piccadilly he observed a Number of disorderly Persons
walking together in a Body insulting different People he desired all the Society
to take Care of their Watches & their Pocketts he then
proceeded forwards to observe what such Persons did
when he saw the Prisoner Francis Evans< no role > amongst
many others assault Bartholemew Price and saw
the Prisoner take a Watch out of the sd. Bartholemew
