The Voluntary Examination of James Leroche< no role >
taken on Oath this 12th day of May 1789 before
me one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
in and for the said County of Middlesex

Who on his Oath faith that on Tuesday Night the fifth
day of May he this Examinent William Pickering< no role > William
Price
< no role > and John Merryman< no role > went from the Black Bull
Thomases Street Bethnal Green and went to some
houses at three Colt Corner near hare Street Bethnal
Green and Hole a Piece of Lead from of a house
there but the People being Alarmed they made
there Escape taking away only one Piece which
then took to the Appartments of one Wright in a
Court in Quakers Street where Merryman Pickering
and Examinant where taken by the Peace officer &
with the Lead
