Water Street Arundel Street Strand Coach Harness
Maker Ann Whitaker< no role > his Wife Mary Loveless< no role >
at No.43 Wych Street and Ann Collins< no role > wife of Richard Collins< no role > of the
same Place Hair Dresser [..]
Wifetaken on Oath this 8th. day of June 1789.

Who being on Oath severally say, and first the said Samuel
Whitaker
< no role > for himself says that the person how present who calls herselfby
Mary Gregory< no role > came to live with him as a Servant on Tuesday last that
on the Friday following his Wife discovered that said Mary Gregory< no role > had
robbed her of a [..] Black Silk Cloak a Cap and two Guineas in Gold
that upon her being taxed with said Robbery she Confessed it and told
this Informant that the Cloak was in Wych Street that this Informant
went there to one Mrs. Collins of whom he received said black Silk
Cloak and Which is the same now produced and is this Informants
property. And the said Ann Whitaker< no role > for herself says that on Friday
morning last she discovered that she had been robbed and suspecting
the said Mary Gregory< no role > she sent for a Constable and taxed her with
the robbery that said Mary Gregory< no role > Confessed it and told where the
Cloak was and that the black Silk Cloak now produced is the same she
was robbed of as aforesaid And the said Ann Loveless for herself
says that the said Mary Gregory< no role > came to her Apartment on Wednesday
last and left a bundle and desired this Informant to give it to Mrs.
Collins when she Came home which she did. And the said Ann Collins< no role >
for herself says that on Wednesday last in the Evening she was informed
by the said Ann Loveless that a Young Woman (whom she called Melly)
had been there and left a bundle for her which this Informant
received and put on a box in her Apartment That on Friday last
the said Samuel Whitaker< no role > came to this Informant And asked her if
Molly had left a Cloak with her this Informant replied yes
and then gave the same to said Samuel Whitaker< no role >
