The Information of James Scott< no role > , taken upon [..]
Oath before me One of His Majesty's Justices of the [..]
Peace in and for the said County this 22nd. day of [..]
February 1788.

Who on his Oaththatsaith that on Saturday the 16th. day of [..]
February Inst. at about the hour of Eight of the Clock in the Morning
he Missed from his Premisses in Duvals Lane near Holloway in
the Parish of St. Mary Islington in the said County a certain
beast called an Heiffer (which this Informant hath had in his
possession about Three Months) This Informant Immediately
Suspected it to have been Stolen and traced it through the
Turnpike at Holloway and from thence all the back way to
Penton Street near the White Conduit House Islington And this
Informant further on his Oath saith that he at last found the
said Heiffer in the Slaughter House of John Munday< no role > in
Red lyon Alley Cow Cross Street Tyed up with the hair Cut
off from the End of the Tailof [..] This Informant further
saith that he asked the said John Munday< no role > how he came
by he said Heiffer who said it was brought there but
he could not tell by whom but that he the said John
Munday
< no role > had ordered it to be tyed up and some Slay.
to be given to it and this Informant doth Suspect
that the said John Munday< no role > Feloniously Stole the said Heiffer
