when this Informant to the Said Edward Hewe
that it was not decent upon which the said Edward
Hewe brought a Coach in which the said Body
was carried away

And this Informant James Tomkins< no role > for
himself Saith that he is a Hackney Coackman
that on Friday Evening last he was called to
take up a fare at an apothecary's the corner
St Grafton Street when the person now present
who calls himself Edward Howe< no role > desired this Informant
to assist him with a parcel in the Coach which
he accordingly did when one of the two men named
Griffiths got into the Coach and the other
Griffiths road behind and desired this Informant
to drive them to Mount Street which he accordingly
did, when one of the said Griffiths's pretended to find
out the place where the parcel was to go, but
could not and desired this Informant to go back
to the apothecary's in search of the person now present
who calls himself Edward Hewe, thatwhen he met
him in Dean Street when this informant said to the
said Edward Hewe "Why these men (meaning the said Griffiths)
do not know where to go" when the said Edward
Hewe answered "I only told you so by way of blinding
the Doctor", And went with him to mount Street
and in his way there told him it wett a dead Godj
when the said Edward Hewe ot into this [..]
Informant's Coach, and desired him to drive him to
Doctor Hunter's in Castle Street Leicesterfield which
he accordingly did, when this Informant the
said Edward Hewe and the two Griffiths's took
the BOdy of the said Jedediah Thomas< no role > into the
House of the said Doctor Hunter in Castle Street
aforesaid where the said Edward Hewe and the two men
named Griffiths Stript and robbed the said Jedediah
Thomas
< no role > of all his wearing apparel, that the said
Edward House< no role > brought the said wearing apparel
