Pursued said Michael Donaty and he was afterwards
secured by others And the said Samuel Meeking< no role >
for himself says that this Evening between six and seven
o'Clock he saw said Michael Donaty with two other
Persons lounging about Holywell Street and suspecting
them to be upon no good he watched them and after
some time saw the said three persons come from
the place where the said John Newman< no role > was standing
towards this Informant walking very Smartly at
which time the said Michael Donaty had
something very bulky wrapped in Paper under his
Arm That after they had passed this Informant
he went to the said John Newman< no role > and asked him
if he had not lost something out of the Shop who
replied that he had and desired to knows which
way they were gone that he desired said Newman
to follow him that they both ran after them into
Newcastle Street where they met said Donaty
and another of his Companions returning and as
they passed this Informant one of them with a Stick
gave this Informant a violent blow on his right
High That Informant went on to the end of said
Street in hopes of finding the third person and not
finding him he returned towards said donaty and
his Companion when said Donaty and his Companion
held up their Sticks in a menacing posture and
said "Damn you" That this Informant being
apprehensive of danger ran into a House but
