The Information of Joseph
Dean
< no role > taken before me one
of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the said
County.

Who being upon oath Saith
That he is Servant to Lady Fitrroy in Holles
Street in the Parish of Saint Mary le bone
in the said County, that about two of the Clock
last night he was alarmed by hearing a
noise in his Mistresse's house, that he and
his fellow servant got out of bed and
searched different parts of the house to see
if any person had broke in, And in one
of the Garrets up Stairs this Informant
found the person now present who calls
himself Benjamin Barland< no role > hangingby
his handon the outside of the window
his hands holding by the inside of the same window
of his must his houseAnd this Informant
further upon his oath Charges the said
Benjamin Barland< no role > with feloniously and
Burglariosly breaking And entering the
Dwelling house of the said Lady Fitzroy
with intent as he verily believes the Goods
and chattels therein feloniously to steal take and
carry away
