The King on the Prosecution of
John Harlow< no role > agt. Henry Jackson< no role >

Edward Church< no role > of Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex
Butcher and John Harlow< no role > of the same Place Broker
severally Make Oath and say And first the said Edward
Church
< no role > for himself saith that on or about December last
he this Deponent Observed three Boys standing at the
Door of the said M: John Harlow< no role > one of whom he saw take
a Makegany Tea Chest from off the Table which was
standing inside the House of the said M: John Harlow< no role > and
he together with the rest ran away with same and they
were pursued by this Deponent and other persons and one
of them was taken which was Henry Jackson< no role > but he was
not the Person who took the Tea Chest prosecutor took Jackson
before Justice Bilmot at which place this Deponent
Attended and Informed the Justice that Jackson was not
the person who stole the Tea Chest notwithstanding [..]
which the Justice bound over this Deponent to prosecute
And this Deponent further saith that he being a Lady and
not being Acquainted with the Nature of the Business
he did not Attend at the Sessions House in Clerkenwell
to give Evidence he having no Notice from the prosecutor
about it Untill the Sessions began in January Last
and when the prosecutor send to this Deponent Master
for this Deponent to Attend he was in the County and
knew nothing of it untill his return when this Deponent
was Informed that M: Harlow had sent for him but it was
too late to Attend the Bill being thrown and as this Deponent
was Informed by the said M: Harlow And this Deponent
Saith he is nothing but a Journeyman Butcher and has
only half a Crown a Week and his Board And the Deponent
John Harlow< no role > for himself saith that in January last he
sent for the Deponent Edward Church< no role > to go with him to
the Sessions House Clerkenwell to prosecutor Jackson and
received for Answer that Church was in the County
