Luck having met with three Sailors but had nothing
from them & asked for some Half pence to wch. he replyed
he had none abt. him she then said let me feel wch. he
agreed to the then claspt her Hands round him & likewise
begun to feel abt. him & at that Instant lost his Watch &
also his Pockett Handkerchief he then sat out in order
to pursue her & meeting a Watchman & telling him he had
lost his Watch the Watchman advised him to go to the
Constable of the Night who went along with him to the
Place where the Prisoner lodged but on Inquiry she
had been gone from there a Week but afterwards she
was notwithby another Watchman whose Name is
Flinor who took her to the Watch House & upon search
her no Watch was found but the Pockett Handkerchief
belong. I to this Deponent was found on her
[..] James Dignell< no role > for himself saith that abt. one o Clock on
Sunday Morning last Henry Eldridge< no role > came to his
Box wanted to light his candle & the Church Clock Struck
One Year wchthe sd. Eldridge pulled out his Watch &
said it's very right he then left them in the Street &
went upon his Round & eryed the Hour upon return.
back the sd. Eldridge met him & said I am robbed of any
Watch & desired he wod. go along with him to look for
the Girl upon wch. he desired the sd. Eldridge not to be
