Their sevl. Oaths say & first the said Henry Elbridge< no role > for himself saith

Who upon [..] that on Sunday Morn. the
Tenth of this Instant betwixt 12 & 1. o Clockin theas he
was in course of his Business at the Corner of Nothingham
Court King Street St. Giles's he met the Watchman & desired
he wod. let him light his Candle & at the same Time Christian
Fraile came likewise & asked for a Light the Watchman
said what Light she wanted to wth. she replyed to hight
her Pipe the Watchman lighted the Deponts. Candle &
afterwds. the Prisoner lighted her Candle by [..] & afterwds.
returned the sd. Candle back to this Depont. but having
greazed her Fingers she requested the Deponent to lend
her his Hankerchief wch. he refused doing upon wch. she
wiped them on her ShiftThe Watchman saying to the
Depont. somebody calls for me he immediately took out his
Watch & said you are very right for it's exactly one o' Clock
the Watchman immediately set forward upon his Round
& the Prisoner immediately addressed herself to this Depont.
by asking if he did not want a Wife to wch. he replyed
he did not want a Wife not withstands. she followed him
to the Excise Chamber in Nothingham Court he then disned
to go away & said if his Surveyor happened to come he
wod. most certainly have her taken up & sent to Bridewell
she then wanted to go & sit herself down upon a Stool
