The Information of John Davidson< no role >
Taken the 31st. day of July 1788.

Who upon his Oath Saith That about 11 o' Clock in
the Evening of Thursday last he was met in or near
Cross Lane Holborn by a Woman now in Custody who says
her Name is Ann Carnan< no role > and was taken by her to
a Lodging Room in Scotts Court and Undressed himself
and got into Bed with the said Ann Carnan< no role > who was
also Undressed That he Contained in Bed untill about
the hour of 4 o' Clock in the Morning when he was Alarmed
by a person Calling act "Nance several times" That
the said Ann Carnan< no role > was gone but there was a
Woman at the foot of the Bed but he Connot
be certain Whether it was the Prisoner or not
That he had in his Possession when he went into the
Room with the said Ann Carnan< no role > Twelve Guineas in
Guineas and half Guineas about Seven Shillings in
Silver same half pence and a Tobacco Box and
a Knife which was all Stolen and Carried away
