The Information of Richard Freeman< no role > Sydney Waterman
admitted [..] an Evidence be me on His Majestys Behalf who being
on his Oath saith Yesterday Morning Thomas Chapman< no role > asked him
to row him on board the St. Marys Planter lying in Ball Wharf
Tier that rowest along side said Ship between the hour of
nine and Ten said Morning and Soon after the said Thomas
Chapman
< no role > came down the Lerbord Gang way of said Ship with a piece of
a Rope cable laid one End served with Spearyarn about Eight
or more To them well work either as a Jack Street Hawser
or Buoy Rope that he rowed him toward store intending
for Cole Stairs instead of which Chapman Ordered him to land
at Shadwell Dock which he did when Chapman landed said
Rope and went away with it as fast as he could without
paying him for his fare

Thomas Chapman< no role > saith Yesterday Morning to the best of
his Recollection a Waterman rowed him on board the St
Marys Planter after Breakfast he believes between Nine and Ten
who he ordered to carry him over the Water that he desired him to
call or board said Ship to deliver a Foock [..] Says he did not
[..] go on board said Ship after Breakfast nor Did he take any Rope
or receive any Rope out of said Ship and bring into the Boat of Sidney and< no role > land the
same at Shadwell Dock Stairs and go away with it as
Sworn by the Richard Freeman< no role > Sidney yesterday morning
