County Who being on his Oath Saith that on the 27th. day of
September last he was at the Sun in Saint Catherines Lane
That about eight O Clock in the Evening

came
into the Tap Room with a Woman who pointed to
Thomas

and say'd that is your Prisoners and Immediately went
out and Dawson came in with her when Informant say'd to
Dawson he would pass his word for his appearance the next
morning when Dawson told Whiteway he had taken Pickets
word for his appearance in the Morning Whiteway answered he
would take Nobodys word and said to Philbin will you go
Philbin Answered he would not go with any Damned Runner or
Words to that Effect when Whiteway said if he would not
go he would Shoot him and Instantly heard the Report of a
Pistol and saw the said

said he hath shot the Man and run out go after him
which hew did and Seized him by the Collar the top of Saint
Catherines Lane
and took him the Bulls Head
