Alexander Green< no role > saith he and Thomas Finch< no role > worked together all last
Winter Fishing in the Thames That about a Week after [..] Christmas They both
went to an Ozier Ground situate near Bathersia Bridge on the Lower side of the
said Bridge and took Fourteen or fifteen Bundles of Twigs lying on the said Ground
which they brought to Nine Elms where they Pickt up Four of Two Bundles half of which
they brought to New Crane Stairs about Nine of the Clock at night and delivered the
the same to Mr. Sheppard who paid them Fourteen pence for each Bundle that the
next night about the hour of Eight They carried the Remainder to Mr. Sheppard
Cellar where he was at Work near to New Crane Stairs who paid them the same price
for the same as beforeThat same night he saw John Gooderie< no role > and Two other men who
he doth not know come to the said Stairs in a Shift having a Quantity of Twigs
therein who asked him if he knew of any Basket makers on Shore That he went
with them to [..] Mr. Patstone house when Mrs. Patstone refused
to buy any That they went back to New Crane where the Skiff was and found she was
stopped then being about half past nine

Thomas Crosby Sheppard< no role > [..] saith soon after New Years Day Alexander Green< no role > came to
him as he was unloading some Rods at New Crane String between the Hours of Four and Five in the Afternoon
and asked him if he bought Rod that he answered Yes and [..] asked him how many he had to sell who
answered Three or four score Bolts or more and asked what he frequently give as to price That he told
him from Eighteen to Twenty Six Shillings a Score when Green said he would bring them down when
the side ServedThat in Three or four Days after Alexander Green< no role > and a mans who was called
Starkey brought about Fifteen Bundles of Rod between the hours of hour and Eight at night
says he asked Green where he got them who answered from Isleworth and that he Starkey and
one Pratt growed said Rods at Isleworth That he then bought them and gave Thirteen pence a
Bolt for the sameSays that said Green and Starkey about nine days before a Quantity of Rod
were stopped at New Crane Stairs came to him with Five Bundles about the hour of seven
at night [..] and the next Morning between [..] Seven and Eight o Clock they brought Four more
making Nine in the whole six of which were headings and need fourteen pence each bolt of
whole Stuff and six pence each for the Headingsand that about Nine days after The said Green
and Starkey brought him about Twenty seven Bundles of Rod about the hour of Eight in the
Evening who he paid Fourteen pence for each Bundle Says about Four Months ago he went to
Islesworth to know if Prat or any of the others had any Ozier Ground these and found they had not
