that which this Informant was endeavour
to read the said Bill this Mar said I see
you can't sery well make it out and immediately
call'd to the Person now present who calls
himself John Jones< no role > : who seem'd as if
coming along the Fort Path, Saying, Sir,
that the say Jno. Jones< no role > immediately
[..] them and read the Bill and to said
them it was at no Use without having
the [..] upon which this Information,
[..] the Purse might he looked into
which was done by the little Man, and
a small Box taken out containing in
appearance a very Elegant Diamond Ring
upon which John Jones< no role > said, what a fine
[..] it is, and what great Such [..] have
got and that if they had a Mind to keep
it to themselves the would not say any
thing about it, the Little Man then said
her would give this Informant Shorty
Pounds for his Share and he would keep
the Ring upon which Jno. Jones asked this
Informant it he would be satisfied with
that, which he said he should, that athey
all three were going along the Little Man
said he had some Money to receive for
Some Hope and he would go and fethit
and pay this Informant, when it was do,
agreed that Jno. Jones< no role > Should keep the
Ring until this Informant was satisfied
that upon the said Jno: Jone< no role > giving his
Note to the Little Man as his Security
and this Informant was to deposit
his Silver Watch for the same purpose
As they were going to a House some [..] ford Street which was
proposed in order to Settle the Business
which House this Informant does not
immediately recollect, but were sd. by
John Jones< no role > to be kept by him and that,
his Name was Johnson, in going on this
Informant took out his Watch to see what
