Informations of Witness severally taken and
acknowledged on behalf of our Sovereign Lord the King
touching the death of Hannah Morgan< no role > at the
dwelling House of James Fitzgerald< no role > the sign of the Swan
in Portland Street in the parish of Saint Mary le bone
in the said County of Middlesex on the twelfth day of
July in the 27th. year of the reign of our sovereign Lord
George the third before me Richard Collett< no role > one of
his Majesty's Coroners for the said County on an
Inquisition then and there taken on View of the Body
of the said Hannah Morgan< no role > then and there lying
dead as follows. to wit.

John Heaviside< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. of Mortimer Street in the County aforesaid
Surgeon being sworn and examined the day and year
aforesaid on his Oath saith that he this Informant
was sent for to attend the Deceased about three oClockon Wednesday night
[..] in the Morning of thefirstthirty first [..] day of May [..] last that when deponent cannot
the said deceased he found five wounds upon her head
three of which wound had laid the scull bare, she
had a wound on the back of her right Hand, was very
much bruised on her left elbow and Hip, that she
was perfectly sensible but much agitated, that she
appeared to be about 75 years of Age; that the deceased
appeared to get better of such Wounds until Monday the
second day of this Instant, when shebecame worse and
in great danger
became sleepy, [..] and remained
so all the next Day, which gave Dept. Reason
to suppose Matter had been formed on the Brain
and therefore trepanned the Scull in two places
