The Dept.Mr. Carter, saying that he was Sleepy
and that he could never sleep when he
was out, Says that Mr. Carter in the
Evening told her that his Wife and he
were going to be parted several times
and now they were parted, and that he
would Marry Dept. tomorrow with all
his Heart, and Dept. says that the Deced
went away from her Husband for four
days some time ago.

Mary Gray< no role > a Lodger to Mr. Carter in Mr.
Currie House, on her Oath saith That she
saw the Deced in her Shop on Wednesday
Evening last about that past Eight o'Clock who told
Dept. had Mr. Carter was out, Says that
she does not know whether Mr. Carter
came home that Night or not, nor did
she hear any None or disturbance
in the House that Night. Says that
she often heard Mr. Carter Scold the
Deced but never knew that he Struck
her.
