Mary Harfield< no role > a Lodger at Mr. Currie's on
the Second Floor on her Oath saith That on
Wednesday Evening last about half past Ten
She saw the Deced in her Shop and spoke
to her some Minutes when Deced appeared
to be very well, and said that her Husband
was out, which he often used to be, Says
that she does not know whether [..]
Carter came home that Night or not
nor did she hear any Noise or Disturbance
in the House that Night Says that the
Deced has not been seen since Wednesday
Night last abive, and that Dept. this day
saw her in the Water Tub. there being no
water therein, Dept. drew Water out of
it Yesterday, and the Cock being bent
so that some of the Water run out of
the Tub, Says that Mr. Carter came home
Yesterday Evening about Eight o'Clock
being in Liquor, came up Stairs and asked
Dept. if she had seen his Wife and upon Dept.
saying that she had not, he said if ever she
came there he would out off her Hands & Legs
Says that [..] Degiter came in again about
half after Eleven last Night rather in Liquor
and said that he would faster the Doors, That
she heard him some time below but cannot
say whether he went into Bed or not.
