The Information of George Greig< no role > at the Half way house
Gardens situate in Mile End Old Town . St. Dunstan Stepney
taken this 4th. day of June 1787 Who being on Oath says His
House situate as aforesaid was this Morning Broke Open And the
Copper. Copper Tea Kettle pieces of Lead. Four pair of Mens Shoes Two
pair of Shoe Buckles One pair Silver the other pair Metal. Two pair of Womans
Shoes One [..] Gird Iron. Two Iron Frying Pans Three Saucepans One Copper
The other Two Tin One Womans Course Apron Four Towels and an Iron Trivet were taken
and carried away says-The Copper, Copper Tea Kettle pieces of Lead One pair
of mens Shoes and pair of Mens Shoe Buckles. and Four Towels now [mark]
produced are his property and were stolen and taken away as aforesaid

William Hunday< no role > on his Oath says this Morning about Ten Minutes after Four
He saw the Person present who says his Name is Joseph Curry< no role > in the Back Lane
St. George Middx carrying the Copper produced on his head who he stopt and
carryed to the Watchhouse and on taking said Copper off his head Three of
the Four Towels produced he took out of the said Copper That he heard some
persons call to him to stop said Man

George Foreister< no role > on his Oath says he this Morning took the Shoes and buckles
produced of Feet of the said Joseph Curry< no role > . he then being in Shadwell
Watchouse

The said Joseph Curry< no role > says Two men who be dont know met him as he
was coming from Bow pair this Morng. the Name of the Road the dont know
but about an hour after day light gave him the Copper produced to carry to
Billins gate for six pence and a pot of Bear besides who likewise gave
him the pair of Shoes and buckles produced from a parcel of other Shoes as he
had no Shoes to his Feet
