Who upon their Oaths severally say and first the said
Elizabeth Pearce< no role >
for herself saith That the lodges in a
three pair of Stairs front room in the House of Mr.
Lee in King Street
7 dials
That about Nine oClock
in the Morning of Thursday the 26th. Instant She came out
of the Room and Cocked it and put the Key in her pocket
and as She was coming up [..] Stairs She met a Woman
Whose name appears to be Mary Nash< no role >
on the second
landing place with something in her Apron That She
asked her what she wanted and She mentioned the Name
of some Strange Person That Informant then went
to her room unlocked the door and went in and immediately
Missed a Bed Quilt Three Linnen Shirts Four
pair of Cotton Stockings a pair of Stuff Calli [..] co
Slippers a Black Cloth Cloak and a small Key. That
the Bed Quilt and Things now produced are the property of
her Husband Owen Pearce< no role >
and the same that were
Stolen as aforesaid
The said Elizabeth Jefkins< no role >
for herself Saith
That about half past 11. oClock the same Morning
the said Mary Nash< no role >

this Informant at No. 16

asked this Informant to let the Quilt one of the Shirts
and the Slippers remain in her Apartments for that her
Husband and she had some words together upon which
She put things down and went away That in about
half an hour afterwards the said Mr. Meacham came in
