The Information of John Greaves< no role >
and William Parker< no role >
taken before me one of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the said County

Who being Severally upon Oath
Say and first this Informant John
Greaves
< no role > for himself Saith that he
keeps a Shoe Warehouse at the corner
of Newport Alley in the parish of Saint
Ann Westminster , That on Saturday night
last he locked up the said [..] Warehouse
and took the keys with him to this
house in the neighbourhood where
he lives and left the house unoccupied
That in the morning of Monday following
he was informed by one of his men
that he could not get in to the said
Warehouse, that he got a Ladder
and got in at the window and found
that the house had been broke
open and robbed of a great number
of men and Women's Shoes the property
of this Informant of the value of
three, pounds and upwards, That
on Examining the house he found
that the trap door at the top of the
house had been broke open and
also the passage door to the shop And
