Robbery taken before me this
30th. day of March 1787 .

Who says that he is a Soldier in Colonel
Berties Company in the first Regiment
of Foot Guards that being this day ordered
for Guard he went las Night between 7 and
8 o'Clock to the Butt in Hyde Park near the Uxbridge Road to pick up some Balls
That hearing a Noise in the said Road he left his
Balls and jumped over the Wall when
he saw two or three Soldiers Running along
That soon after a Gentleman came up
to him this Examinant and said a Person [..] had
just now been Robbed by two Soldiers and immediately
secured him.
