The several Informations of Mary Ann
Bailey< no role > Dorothy Howell< no role > and Edward Ansell< no role >
Taken the 9th. day of March 1787

Who upon their Oaths severally say and first the
said Mary Ann Bailey< no role > for herself Saith That
on Sunday last about 12. o Clock at Night She was
coming down Long Acre and asked her way home to her
Lodgings in Crown Street Soho When She was
accosted by Two Women who said they would
Show her the way home Instead of Which they
took her to a Lodging House in Parkers Land near
Drury Lane and She was induced by them to go up Stairs
with them and they asked her to treat them Which She
did with some Rasberry Gin and the person near
in Custody Who says her Name is Susannah Allen< no role >
brot. in the same When they drank a little and
insisted upon this Informants drinking the Remainder
otherwise they would throw it over her That She
Drank the same and then they asked her to go to bed
Which She Refused but upon their saying they would
see her safe home in the Morning and make it
up wth her friends She Consented and Undressed and
went to Bed Where She fell asleep That before She
went to Sleep She put her Pockets under her head
and She was awakened by some person moving
her head at which time She saw the Prisoner in
the Room Who then went away That She got out of
