Taken the 13th. day
of September 1786
Who upon their Oaths severally say And first the
the said John Colville< no role >
for himself saith That he keeps
a Public House in Colville Court
Saint pancras
known
by the sign of the Rose and Crown
That within this
Month past he has lost near Two Dozen of pewter
pots. That the pot now produced is one of the pots
which have been Stolen That it is his property and is of
the Value of Sixteen pence
The said Joseph Mathews< no role >
for himself Saith
That this Morning he receive Information That
a Woman who says her Name is Isabella Mead< no role >
and
who had been several times lately suspected of Stealing
[..] pots and Melting them down had a Quart
pot in a frying pan and was then going to Melt it
down he this Informant went to her Lodging room
which he found fastened and looking through the
Wainscot into the room and found the Information to
be true upon which he broke open the door and found
a Frying pan on the fire and the above mentioned pot
in the pan and the said Isabella Mead< no role >
was then Blowing
the fire and there upon he Took the said Isabella Mead< no role >
into Custody
