of the Peace
for the said County
Who being severally upon Oath say and first this
Informant David Brownley< no role >
for himself saith that
he keeps the Bedford Arms
public House in South
Street
Saint Mary le Bone
that between ten & Eleven
oClock last Night having first seen that every part
of his House was properly secured & made fast he was
to Bed that about five oClock this Morning he was
called up by some of his Neighbours who Informed
him that his House had been broke Open when
upon Examination this Informant found the
Parlour Window on the Ground floor had been forced
Open with some Instrument like a Pick Ax from
the Impression made by the force upon the Window
Sill and the Sash Frame after the Sash wasey
the Inside Shutter was broke to Pieces with the
same kind of Tool or Instrument and upon Examinary
the said Impressions with the Pick Ax now produced
and which was found at the Door of the Place where
the Person now present who calls himself John White< no role >
Lodges they fit each other Exactly that this Informt
House was Broke Open & Entered thorough the said Window
and the following things now produced Vizt. One Mohoganey
Round Table One Mohagany Knife Tray & twenty One
forks and Nine Knives were taken and Carried away
which are the property of this Informant
And this Informant John Wilson< no role >
for himself
saith that he is One of the Serjants of the Watch in
the Parish of Saint Mary Le Bone
that about five
Clock this Morning he was upon his Duty going up
